Six classic James Bond films will make their debut on Blu-ray Disc this October, MGM and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment announced today. The world’s most well-known secret agent will appear in a must-have James Bond collection on October 21 in North America and October 20 in the UK and elsewhere.
Recently restored and re-mastered using the “Lowry process” for digital frame-by-frame restoration, the James Bond titles arriving on Blu-ray Disc will include Dr. No, Die Another Day, Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, From Russia with Love and Thunderball.
MGM did not announce the special features lineup, although the company promised “special features galore.”
The James Bond Blu-ray movies, which will be available individually (combined package configurations have yet to be finalized), will release just in time to give some added publicity to the next Bond feature film, Quantum of Solace, which will make its theatrical debut in November.
