While consumers decorate their Christmas trees with holiday balls, 20th Century Fox wants to consumers to grab balls of a different type, as the studio announced today it will release Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story on Blu-ray Disc on December 9.
Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story will appear on Blu-ray as an unrated version of the story that shows Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller settling their differences in a winner-takes-all dodgeball competition.
Dodgeball will debut on high-definition on a single-layer Blu-ray disc presented in widescreen (2.35:1 aspect ratio) with English 5.1 DTS Master Audio, Spanish and French 5.1 Dolby Surround. Its bonus features will include:
- Feature-length audio commentary by Writer/Director Rawson Marshall Thurber and actors Ben Stiller & Vince Vaughn
- Deleted/Extended Scenes and Alternate Ending
- Bloopers/Gag Reel
- Featurettes (Fox didn’t go into specifics)
