Walmart Black Friday Circular Leaked; Huge Electronics, Games Sale

November 14, 2010 by Sara Leave a Comment

Walmart’s Black Friday circular was leaked this weekend, giving an all-access glimpse as to what Walmart’s Black Friday deals will be in 2010. Not surprisingly, electronics and games account for the glitziest and biggest sales in Walmart’s Black Friday circular, so thousands of people can now get a heads-up as to the mega retailer’s sales courtesy of the leaked circular. Consider it a chance to pre-plan your shopping routes.

Walmart stores are scheduled to open at midnight on Black Friday (so get in line on Thanksgiving night), with some big sales going on when the doors open. The biggest Black Friday discounts will hit later in the day, though, with the so-called “door buster” bargains available from 5am to 11am. (or while supplies last) at all Walmart locations.

As detailed at CNNMoney.com, Walmart’s Black Friday sales will actually spill into the entire post-Thanksgiving weekend, with some specials available only on one of the three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Among the specials at Walmart this Black Friday are: a Magnavox Wi-Fi Blu-ray player for a measly $68, a 42-inch Emerson 1080p LCD HDTV for $398, a 42-inch LG 1080p LCD HDTV for $478, and an HP 15.6-inch 250GB-harddrive laptop for $298.

The door buster deals will include $7 and $8 videogames, Blu-ray disc movies for $5 and $10, and more than 90 DVDs for $1.96.

The midnight deals include Zhu Zhu Pet toy hamsters for $4, $5 Barbie dolls and kids clothing for $4. One of the deals available at Walmart only on Saturday is a Sony 46-inch 1080p LCD HDTV for $698. That’s a screaming deal, folks.

More details about Walmart’s Black Friday sales are available at the CNNMoney.com article linked above. That outlet actually received a printed version of the circular and spoke with a Walmart representative about the deals. So much for a “leaked” Walmart Black Friday circular. Sounds more like it was strategically planted.
