The PlayStation Network has been hacked again, with non-credit-card information available to the perpetrators. Fortunately for the majority of PS3 owners, the latest PSN hack only affects approximately 93,000 people -- or one-tenth of one percent of all PSN and Sony Online Entertainment users. PlayStation Network Coming Back Online, North America First
Sony yesterday began a phased region-by-region restoration of its PlayStation Network and Qriocity Services, with the country-by-country rollout beginning in the Americas, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East. Sony PSN Servers to Remain Offline Longer Than Expected
For every PS3 owner hoping to get online this week to play multiplayer games, chat with their friends or enjoy the online-enabled services associated with the PlayStation Network, Qriocity and SOE services, the wait's been delayed longer than originally expected.
