The Best Games On Game Pass In 2022

May 18, 2022 by Sophie Leave a Comment

Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass is scheduled to break historical records again in 2021, and if early 2022 is anything like the first month's inception, we're confident it will exceed even the most detail-oriented fans' expectations. Microsoft's late-2018 acquisition of Bethesda added a number of beloved video games such as Skyrim and Fallout 3 to the Xbox Game Pass roster, and these new games, which have been dominating the press throughout the first half of 2019, will undoubtedly continue bringing new and impressive titles to the … [Read more...]

xbox or PS4 - what to buy

Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PlayStation 4: these are the consoles which have dominated the console gaming industry for a long time now. They are constantly evolving, with new and interesting features added to them with each installment and exclusive game titles, just to occupy that space in your living room. Needless to say, the game libraries of both the consoles have expanded greatly, and both of them now starting at $350, there was never a better time to get the best in the gaming arena. Spider-Man Edge of Time Review

October 28, 2011 by Sara Leave a Comment

Developer Beenox produced what I felt was a fairly well thought out and received Spider-Man title with Shattered Dimensions, so when Edge of Time was introduced and revealed to have only two versions of Spider-Man in it, I thought that things could’ve been tightened up and the gameplay solidified a little. My thoughts were still along this track when I started playing Edge of Time, but then that line was quickly derailed. The story revolves around Miguel O’Hara (Spider-man 2099) who while spying on an evil scientist, … [Read more...]

Child of Eden Review

July 14, 2011 by Sara Leave a Comment

Much like the game that inspired it (Rez), Child of Eden is a game that defies definition. Is it a shooter or is it a screensaver? Is it a rhythm game or is it an on rails shooter? Regardless of how the game is defined, it easily has become one of, if not the reason to own a Kinect system in my opinion. Sure it lacks the child friendly and forgiving qualities of Kinectimils, and it's not quite as generation linking as the upcoming Once Upon a Monster, but this is a game that can and should be used to show off what the … [Read more...]

Jeff’s Microsoft Press Conference Thoughts

June 6, 2011 by Sara Leave a Comment

Xbox 360 thumbnail

As I was sitting at the office watching the Microsoft press conference, I started jotting down some thoughts on what I had just seen, and here are those notes. I stopped once it got to the section about the exclusive games, but for the most part I was personally a little disappointed by the presentation. Microsoft  Opened up with the Modern Warfare 3 demonstration, and while yeah it looks great (at least on my stream) it basically seems like the same type of game as MW and MW2. I can say that I was really let down by … [Read more...]
