Cubic Ninja Ships for Nintendo 3DS

June 14, 2011 by Sara Leave a Comment

Nintendo 3DS LogoCubic Ninja, a new Nintendo 3DS title that lets you play without ever touching a button, is now available in North America, Ubisoft announced today. Cubic Ninja places gamers in the role of CC, a brave little cube-shaped ninja whose princess and ninja friends have been abducted.

By tilting and turning the Nintendo 3DS hardware, players will solve puzzles, outwit enemies and escape intricate traps without ever having to touch a single face button or thumbstick. All that’s needed is to tilt and turn your way through more than 100 levels and defeat adversaries such as Woofbot and Scorchbot. Yes, there’s a clear robot them going on there.

From raging infernos to elemental forces of wind and water, enemies will use whatever tricks necessary to stop CC in his tracks. But of course, CC won’t be stopped. If players have to tumble until they’re dizzy or survive raging waters just to rescue the princess, then they will. Because that’s how the Cubic Ninja rolls.

In addition to the single-player components, Cubic Ninja lets players race through levels as quickly as they can, then share a ghosted replay of their best run online with friends to see if they can beat it. Cubic Ninja also includes a level creator that lets gamers display their levels as a QR Code that can then be shared with players all over the world to download and play.
