Dragon Quest IV Hits Retail, Again

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen for the Nintendo DS showed up on retail shelves today. If you are obsessive-compulsive and crave things in threes, you can finally feel relief as you stack it up next to the NES original and the PS1 remake.

So, technically, this is a remake of a remake. Square Enix sure does love that lately don’t they?

Square Enix also priced the game in the high 30s, which they also love doing lately. This version of Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen has a nifty 3D engine, though, and let us not forget in our millennial cynicism that DQIV is a really amazing game.

Now, let’s hack the crap out of some pathetic blue slimes together.
