Codemasters today drove the most powerful racing cars onto the Nintendo DS, as Race Driver: Create & Race shipped to retail outlets nationwide. The handheld racing game carries a suggested retail price of $29.99.
Create & Race is the handheld evolution of the popular Race Driver series, but it was built from the ground up for — and is releasing exclusively on — the Nintendo DS. The game includes a track designer that lets gamers design their own tracks using the stylus, placing track elements such as hairpin corners, long straights, chicanes and scenery to their liking.
Once all the pieces are placed, players can take to their track and experience exactly how it feels in aggressive multiple car races. They can also use the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to upload the track and play with friends.
