Sega of America announced today that Sonic Rush Adventure, created exclusively for the Nintendo DS, has shipped to stores across the US. Sonic Rush Adventure takes players on a “high-speed island hopping adventure filled with action-packed gameplay and all-new vehicles.”
Using the DS Touch Screen, players will navigate Sonic through 2D sidescrolling levels filled with familiar loops, rings, and power-ups. Along the way, players will snowboard down avalanches, swing from vines and even hang glide across massive gaps. Boss battles will be epic and take place in enormous 3D environments.
Sonic Rush Adventure also features two battle modes utilizing the DS wireless capabilities. Players can face-off in dual screen races or see who is the faster collector of hidden items.
Sonic Rush Adventure is available for the Nintendo DS for the MSRP of $29.99.
