Shin Megami Tensei Persona 4 Coming to PS2

July 7, 2008 by Sara Leave a Comment

Just as we finished reviewing Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 for PS2, Atlus USA went and announced today that they’re working on Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, which will ship for PlayStation 2 this holiday season.

Larger and deeper than Persona 3 — and “loaded with thrills,” says Atlus — Persona 4 will have an all-new story set in the Japanese countryside. A mysterious chain of deaths remains unanswered, and only players and their team of gifted supernatural sleuths can uncover the truth.

A soundtrack CD will be included in every copy of Persona 4, providing out-of-game access to some of the in-game music (but not every song).

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is currently scheduled for release on December 9 for $39.99.
