The fourth and final chapter in the Assassin’s Creed series will ship in November, Ubisoft unveiled today. Assassin’s Creed Revelations will “present the most immersive experience available in the series to date,” Ubisoft promises, when it releases on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC just in time for the holidays.
In Assassin’s Creed Revelations, master assassin Ezio Auditore walks in the footsteps of his legendary mentor, Altair, as he travels a perilous path that takes Ezio to Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire, where a growing army of Templars threatens to destabilize the region.
Assassin’s Creed Revelations will also include the online multiplayer experience, but with refinements made, expansions introduced and more modes, more maps and more characters. The latest chapter in the Assassin’s Creed saga also includes revolutionary gameplay, allowing players to manipulate the construct of Desmond’s memories and the Animus to decipher the mysteries of his past and gain insight into the future.
Additional details on Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be shared at E3, so we’ll bring you a whole host of info and multimedia from there, as well as in the June issue of Game Informer.
