With the BF4 Xbox One online issues coming to resolution, Electronic Arts and DICE have announced a batch of DLC that’s now available for download on all platforms, including the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Called the Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack, the BF4 DLC is now available for download by all BF4 Premium members.
Battlefield 4 China Rising will be available starting December 17 for non-Premium members. It will cost $14.99.
The Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack introduces four massive new maps. The first of these new maps, Silk Road, lets players storm giant sand dunes and rocky cliffs, while the second, Altai Range, has players engage across land and air while fighting for control of the mountains. The third new BF4 DLC map in China Rising, called Guilin Peaks, compels players to take on the enemy in close quarter combat inside tight-knit caves amidst the iconic peaks of Guilin. The final new map, Dragon Pass, brings the fight to a re-imagining of the classic Battlefield 2 map Dragon Valley, adding new naval vehicles to help traverse its forking rivers and islands.
The Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack also adds Air Superiority game mode for focused aerial combat as well as two new vehicles including the return of dirt bikes. Battlefield 4 China Rising will deliver new weapons, gadgets, assignments, and the new Proxy Attack ability in Commander Mode.
