With E3 2011 wrapped, it’s time to delve into the games with much more detail than our Tweets let on. So let’s start with BioShock Infinite, one of the games in the final running for our Best of E3 awards. Earlier we showed you the official BioShock Infinite E3 2011 trailer, but that just provided a glimpse of gameplay. With our latest BioShock Infinite video, we’ve got a ton more.
The newest video of of Irrational Games is a behind-the-scenes documentary and interview about Columbia’s Sky-Line system. In this BioShock Infinite video, Creative Director Ken Levine discusses the origins of the Sky-Lines in Columbia and how they influence the gameplay in BioShock Infinite. And because of that whole “gameplay” element, you’re going to see a ton of in-game footage that looks exactly like the behind-closed-doors demo we got during E3 2011.
BioShock Infinite was was of the best games at E3 2011, and although it shares a franchise’s name, it’s an entirely unique experience that could easily rise to the top even without the “BioShock” moniker. In the days and weeks ahead we’ll have plenty more impressions, thoughts and analysis of BioShock Infinite.
