Hudson today announced that the next Bomberman game, called Bomberman Ultra, will be a PS3 exclusive, as it will be available this winter exclusively via the PlayStation Network. The game will include old stand-by gameplay elements as well as eight-person online multiplayer modes and full character customization.
Bomberman Ultra will let those eight-player multiplayer battles take place in 14 different online arenas, which will also be available for the four-player local multiplayer modes. Players will also be able to customize their own Bomberman characters, with more than 50 character costumes.
Hudson’s PS3-exclusive Bomberman game will also support online leaderboards.
Pricing and a specific release date were not announced.
