Sega and Disney Interactive today announced that Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is available for download on the PS3. The Xbox 360 version of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse will hit Xbox Live Sept. 4. The game is a 3D re-imagining of the original 1991 Sega Genesis

In Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, everyone’s favorite rodent returns to star in a Disney adventure with in which the evil witch, Mizrabel, has kidnapped Minnie. As you’d expect from any game hero, it’s up to Mickey to brave the dangers of the Castle of Illusion and journey through five worlds to rescue his beloved heroine. Just don’t call her a princess.
While playing through the levels of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, players must take on hordes of rebellious toys, traverse enchanted forests and navigate mazes of living books.
