DIGIMON All-Star Rumble Release Date for PS3, Xbox 360

August 18, 2014 by Sara Leave a Comment

Bandai Namco has announced the DIGIMON All-Star Rumble release date for PS3 and Xbox 360 as Nov. 11. The company has been slow to embrace the next-gen PS4 and Xbox One, but as long as it taps into the fanbase for established franchises like DIGIMON it can afford to be a bit deliberate.

The Nov. 11 release date affects all countries in the Americas. Namco did not announce a DIGIMON All-Star Rumble release date for Europe or Asia.

DIGIMON All-Star Rumble is a party-arena multiplayer game that takes place during a period of time when the Digital World is enjoying peace after overcoming numerous wars and crises. However, the Digimon must still do battle to Digi-volve, so they’ve decided to hold their first ever “Digimon Evolution Tournament” to determine who is the strongest of them all.

That’s where this game comes in. Up to four players can select from a roster of 12 base Digimon characters and play as a total of 32 Digimon forms pulled from every Digimon TV series. That means fans will be able to play as forms from everything from Digimon Adventure to Digimon Fusion.

As an arena-combat game, DIGIMON All-Star Rumble will let players control their digital monsters while battling for supremacy in a Versus Battle mode. By powering up in battle, players can Digi-volve into a much more powerful form, creating a unique combat atmosphere where players must balance attacking while simultaneously attempting to Digi-volve and gain the upper hand.

The game will allow players to use special techniques during matches such as activating a Digimon’s “Evolution” power-up. There’s also an ability to choose between launching an aggressive attack or opting for a more-defensive strategy, whichever approach meets your gameplay style.
