One of the biggest marketing opportunities on the PS3’s PlayStation Home is the introduction of “spaces” for companies to promote their brand and wares in the online space. How big are they? Oh, big enough that EA Sports is now paying attention and will launch its own EA Sports Complex later this spring.
Electronic Arts has other Home products in the works, but the EA Sports Complex will be the first to roll out in Q2. The space has been “designed for both casual and hardcore gamers” and will let players play exclusive new EA Sports multiplayer games, meet and interact with other EA Sports fans, view various leaderboards and watch trailers and other content EA Sports games.
