SEGA today shipped Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F for PS3 in North America. The game is also available for download via Playstation Network. The first console game released for the virtual singer in the West, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F is a rhythm game in which players can experience a concert with Hatsune Miku at any given moment.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F includes all of the updated graphics, additional songs, and features of the Japanese version. Hatsune Miku is the world’s most popular digital singer produced by Crypton Future Media, INC. Her popularity continues to increase in the West, with more than 1 million dedicated Western fans on Facebook. We’d love to get some of them over here, as the DailyGame Facebook page needs some love.
In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F, players will step onto the world’s ultimate stage to join Hatsune Miku and experience selections from her most popular songs. Players can test their skills by tapping buttons to the beat of 38 unique songs, including popular tracks like Tell Your World and Black★Rock Shooter.
In addition to tapping out the beat, players can choreograph, create and share their own Miku videos in the game’s Edit Mode. They can also customize the popular diva with over 90 costumes and 100 accessories. It sounds pretty voyeuristic and odd, but hey, different strokes….
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F for PlayStation 3 is available starting today in stores across North America. It can also be downloaded immediately via PlayStation Network.
