It’s hump day today, which means it’s time to get off your sofa and onto your feet. Ubisoft has shipped a game that promises to do just that, with Just Dance 2014 now available for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U. Just Dance 2014 is the fifth game in the best-selling franchise. Amazingly, this all-new entry costs just $39.99.
When Just Dance 2014 releases for Xbox One and PS4, it will carry an MSRP of just $49.99. That figure is $10 less than most next-gen titles. Ubisoft’s dancing game will ship for each of those systems on their respective launch dates: Nov. 15 for PS4, and Nov. 22 for Xbox One.
“We’ve seen Just Dance become a piece of popular culture over the past four years,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing in Ubisoft North America. “We pride ourselves in having the absolute hottest tracklist and this year is no exception. In addition to expanding onto next-gen platforms and bringing more features like online multi-player and an improved Just Sweat Mode, we’re delivering a steady stream of additional hit songs for players to download after launch for many months to come.”
Just Dance 2014 features more than 45 tracks, which you can see here in our review of the Just Dance 2014 song list. In addition to those songs, four additional downloadable tracks are available today:
- Roar—Katy Perry (free!)
- Can’t Hold Us—Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Ft. Ray Dalton
- Wake Me Up—Avicii Ft. Aloe Blacc
- Pound The Alarm—Nicki Minaj (alternate extreme choreography)
Just Dance has sold more than 42 million units worldwide to date. It recently won the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards for “Favorite Video Game” and the Teen Choice Award for “Choice Video Game.” Needless to say, there are a few people reading this who are bound to head to their nearest store right now to buy Just Dance 2014.
