Multiplayer Modes for Condemned 2: Bloodshot Revealed

January 22, 2008 by Sara Leave a Comment

Condemened was arguably one of the best games of the Xbox 360’s launch, even though it was a single-player experience, but it was an action-horror experience that PlayStation 3 owners missed out on. That will all change with Condemned 2: Bloodshot, which ships for Xbox 360 and PS3 on March 11.

Not only with Condemned 2: Bloodshot ship for both systems, but it will include four multiplayer modes as well, all of which we’ve outlined below.

Leading things off, Condemned 2: Bloodshot will have a multiplayer mode called Crime Scene, a round-based competition to find and protect valuable evidence within the Condemned universe. One team will use its forensic tools to track and scan the evidence, while the opposing team will do everything in their power to keep the evidence hidden and protected. In a sense, it’s like the multiplayer modes in the Splinter Cell games for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Bum Rush, meanwhile, will be a team-based race against time. With three minutes before one team can safely be evacuated, players must hold off an onslaught of attacks by the other team until the timer runs out in order to stand a chance of survival. Any bets on whether one team is comprised of homeless dudes?

The final two multiplayer modes in Condemned 2: Bloodshot are Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch. Deathmatch is the classic free-for-all mode, with players using every weapon they can find to dispatch enemies as quickly as possible. The player with the highest score at the end of the time limit wins. The team version is much the same, but players are divided onto two teams and have their kill counts combined.
