The Burnout racing / car-combat series holds a special place in many gamers’ hearts, ours included, but the latest video from EA for Burnout CRASH! shows something the game from a viewpoint that series stalwarts aren’t used to seeing: it looks like Spy Hunter.
The new Burnout CRASH! trailer, which you can view below, shows everyone’s beloved Crash mode from a top-down view that reinforces how this new entry in the series may take fans a while to get used to. Remember, Burnout CRASH! is going to be available via Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, and it will support Xbox Kinect (and presumably PlayStation Move) controls as well. So, the new vantage point may be a matter of simplifying the interface to better fit those controls. And its downloadable nature, of course.
Burnout CRASH! is a downloadable game inspired by pinball games and will let players connect, compete and compare their high scores. They’ll also be able to use all-new Autolog Challenges to go head to head with their friends.
