When it ships for Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 31, Hunted: The Demon’s Forge
will let two cooperative players take on waves of vicious enemies in a dark fantasy world. Taking control of either E’lara, a ranged weapon expert, or Caddoc, a master swordsman, players will use a variety of weapons, powerful spells and cover tactics to battle their way through dungeons, ruins and downtrodden towns. But what exactly will players be battling against? That’s the topic for a new video from the developers, as the team at inXile Entertainment has just released the making-of discussion video below highlighting the enemies in the game.
In Hunted, the dark ages have become corrupted, heinous creatures have emerged from underground and townsfolk across the land are disappearing. Upon the promise of their fortune in gold, mercenaries E’lara and Caddoc take on the daunting task of discovering where the innocent villagers have been taken. Their journey will lead them on a dark and twisted path where they will encounter death, slavery and sacrifice.
In addition to playing through the main campaign, players will be able to create and share their own challenging dungeon designs with The Crucible, an in-game editor that provides opportunities for exploration and battles for friends.
