New features for NCAA Football 09 have leaped onto the Internet this morning, as Electronic Arts has detailed some of the new elements that will open the gameplay, boost the college atmosphere and enhance the online experience.
NCAA Football 09, which will ship on July 15, will include a new online Dynasty Mode, the first EA Sports game to include a franchise mode online. In the updated Dynasty Mode, players will be able to create and manage their program from landing blue-chip recruits to winning championships, then go online with up to 12 competitors to recruit head-to-head, customize schedules and play for up to 60 seasons.
Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players will also be able to directly control and influence the game through the new break away animation engine, which supports huge cut-back lanes, new tackling animations and wider blocking holes.
NCAA Football 09 will also feature redesigned stadiums that reflect even more detail of each school’s individual playing field, cheerleaders and mascots. All 120 Football Bowl Subdivision schools are represented in the game, and players can customize the in-game atmosphere with their own personal music collection. Players can then gain Home Field Advantage as the intensity of the home crowd rises and rattles the composure of opposing teams.
