While games like Red Faction Guerilla and Battlefield: Bad Company focus on building destruction, LucasArts’ upcoming shooter Fracture focuses on manipulating the ground in ways never before imagined.
Rather than just blow holes in the ground, players in Fracture will be able to destroy and build-up the ground, and even create vortexes and use other wild environment-bustin’ powers.
To date, LucasArts has focused on the single-player aspects of Fracture, but now they’re ready to talk about the multiplayer modes. Well, to be clear, they’re willing to show it. Hey, in our book, that’s even better.
Below are six new in-game Fracture multiplayer screenshots that show the game in action. Although it looks like any other shooter in these screens, what you see in these still shots are mounds and holes created not by level designers, but by the players themselves using their in-game weapons.
You can click on any of the screens below to see it in high resolution.
