SoulCalibur V Coming to Xbox Live Games on Demand and PlayStation Store

April 17, 2013 by Sara Leave a Comment

Namco Bandai today announced that SoulCalibur V will be available for download on the Xbox 360 and PS3 via Xbox Live Games on Demand and the PlayStation Store, respectively. The game will go up on April 23 and be available via both services for $19.99 (or its equivalent in Microsoft Points).

In SoulCalibur V, the latest entry in the weapons-based fighting series, there’s yet another epic struggle between warriors searching for the legendary Soul Swords. Choose from a roster of more than two dozen characters including the master assassin from Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series, Ezio Auditore. Or, create your own personalized fighter and begin a personal quest for glory. An online multiplayer mode allows friends and fighters from around the world to compete against each other for online supremacy.

SoulCalibur V picks up 17 years after the events of SoulCalibur IV, with new heroes and returning warriors clashing in an epic showdown between good and evil. The tale of Patroklos, son of Sophitia Alexandra, unfolds as his family’s destiny intertwines with the Soul swords. With the series’ eight-way run allowing for 3D movement and a refined battle system, SoulCalibur V will be available for download to anyone looking for a knock-down, drag-out fight.
