Splinter Cell Blacklist Homeland DLC Pack Now Available

September 26, 2013 by Sara Leave a Comment

It’s been great to have Sam Fisher back in the swing of things, but every now and then you crave something besides Spies vs. Mercs mode. Well luck is on your side, as the Splinter Cell Blacklist Homeland DLC pack is now available for download on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC. With new missions, weapons and more, the Splinter Cell Blacklist Homeland DLC pack costs $6.99.

The biggest additional feature in the new Splinter Cell Blacklist Homeland DLC pack are two new co-op missions. The Billionaire’s Yacht Co-op map is a story-related mission in which players must infiltrate a rogue billionaire’s yacht the day after a decadent party in the Coral Sea solo or with a friend. The Dead Coast Co-op map, meanwhile, has players taking out a terrorist cell in a remote part of the Middle East in single-player or in co-op mode.

This DLC pack for Ubisoft’s newest Splinter Cell game also includes some weapons and gear.
First up is a crossbow with sleeping gas bolts, which makes enemies start to snooze before they even know what hit them. Next up is a new Upper Echelon Suit, which offers better protection against fire power and blends into the shadows. A new 4E Eclipse Suit, on the other hand, allows Sam to carry more gadgets and offers premium protection.

The new Splinter Cell Blacklist Homeland DLC pack also includes Gold, Amber and White goggles that let players mix up Sam’s goggles by making them show gold, amber or white lights rather than green. There’s also an exclusive Mercs and Spy skin.

In Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, Sam Fisher must hunt down the masterminds behind The Blacklist, a series of escalating attacks on U.S. interests. The game brings back core elements of the franchise (it’s crazy hard and insists on strategy, for instance), and marks the return of the great Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode. This mode has a bit of a twist, though, as it supports both the classic two vs. two action and a new “Spies vs. Mercs Blacklist version,” which supports up to eight players in four vs. four competition.
