Marvel Entertainment and Sega today confirmed that all the prominent cast members from the upcoming action movie “The Incredible Hulk” will also lend their voices and likenesses to the video game of the same name. The Incredible Hulk game is slated to release alongside the film in June 2008 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
This means that Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, Tim Blake Nelson and William Hurt will all take part in the game as their respective characters. Edward Norton plays scientist Bruce Banner, Liv Tyler is Dr. Betty Ross (Banner’s love interest), Tim Roth voices Emil Blonsky (the alter ego of The Hulk’s archenemy, The Abomination), Tim Blake Nelson portrays Dr. Samuel Sterns, and William Hurt plays General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, the man who wants to capture The Hulk and exploit his power.
The Incredible Hulk videogame marks the first time the stalwart comic book saga will unfold on a next-generation platforms. In the game, players will assume the title role as they demolish anything in their path, including everything from lampposts to buildings.
In light of the voice cast, it’s not surprising that the open-world game will feature key moments from the film, but it will also feature additional plotlines and characters from The Incredible Hulk universe.
