Midway today shipped TNA iMPACT!, a wrestling game, for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is expected to be available in stores by the end of the week, with a Wii version expected to ship next week.
TNA iMPACT! mirrors the modern wrestling “game” more than the old-school Hulk/Andre era, with fast-paced controls and a unique Story Mode that earlier games in the genre would never have tackled.
TNA iMPACT! the video game drops gamers into TNA’s six-sided ring to grapple as one of their favorite TNA Superstars for head-to-head and tag-team action. The Story Mode sees the player guiding a fallen champion back to TNA glory. Players can also test the limits in Ultimate X mode, or go online to battle friends or foes in head-to-head action.
