PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners have the chance to hear an unreleased song from rock heavyweights Def Leppard, as the band is releasing a three-song track pack on Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock this week.
The Def Leppard track pack will let gamers hear the band’s new single “Nine Lives” five days before its upcoming album “Songs from the Sparkle Lounge” releases on April 29.
The track pack also features live versions of “Photograph” and “Rock of Ages,” two of Def Leppard’s most popular songs from its album Pyromania.
Def Leppard’s new single “Nine Lives” is the result of the band’s collaboration with country music star Tim McGraw. The song will be one of the most-publicized tracks tracks on “Songs from the Sparkle Lounge,” Def Leppard’s first new studio release since 2006’s “YEAH.”
The Def Leppard Guitar Hero 3 track pack will be available on both Xbox Live Marketplace and in the PlayStation Store on April 24. Activision did not announce pricing for the Def Leppard threesome.
