Ubisoft has announced the details for the Watch Dogs Limited Edition Pack, including a release date that may cause would-be PS4 owners a bit of a release-date jolt. Watch Dogs is an open-world action-adventure game slated to release on PS4 and Xbox One this fall, along with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. The Watch Dogs Limited Edition
Pack will be available exclusively in North America and retail for $129.99.
There are some LE “usual suspects” in the Watch Dogs Limited Edition package, as well as some unique items. Here’s the full rundown of what you’ll get for your $129.99:

- A 9″ statue of Aiden Pearce prominently showing his deadliest weapon (his smartphone)

Prospective PS4 owners may be particularly intrigued by the Watch Dogs Limited Edition Pack’s release date: Nov. 19. The first paragraph of Ubisoft’s announcement says the game’s PS4 SKU will ship on that date, along with the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, while the release date for the Xbox One version was merely tabbed as at the system’s launch. Ubisoft’s last paragraph, however, said both the PS4 and Xbox One versions will be available “on their respective system launch dates,” while it’ll ship on Nov. 19 for the current-gen consoles and PC. Let the speculation begin, then, about whether Ubisoft’s first paragraph was a PS4 release date leak or a simple editing mistake.
In Watch Dogs, players will be immersed in a living, breathing and fully connected recreation of Chicago. Players will assume the role of Aiden Pearce, a new type of vigilante who, with the help of his smartphone, will use his ability to hack into Chicago’s central operating system (ctOS) and control almost every element of the city.
Aiden will be able to tap into the city’s omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control systems such as traffic lights or public transportation to stop a chase and more.
