Atari Classics Evolved Ships for PSP

Atari today shipped Atari Classics Evolved for the PSP. Atari Classics Evolved is a large compilation of classic Atari arcade games.

Atari Classics Evolved features a range of classics including Battlezone, Centipede, Millipede, Missile Command, Tempest, Lunar Lander, Super Breakout, Warlord, Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe and Pong. Players can also unlock more than 40 original Atari 2600 titles, including Yar’s Revenge, Night Driver, Canyon Bomber and Crystal Castles.

Like the Xbox Live Arcade versions of recent Atari games, all 11 classic arcade titles in Atari Classics Evolved for PSP feature their original retro graphics and an option for “Evolved” graphics and enhanced gameplay. The 11 classic arcade titles also feature online leaderboards, and some have local peer-to-peer wireless capability for local multiplayer matches.
