It’s no secret that we have a personal connection to the Writer’s Guild strike. Heck, we even used the article to ask whether videogame publishers secretly hope the strike lasts just a little bit longer. None of that means we’re anti-writer. In fact, we love good writers here at DailyGame, and we’re quite happy that the videogame realm has so far been unaffected by the strike (there’s no game-writer’s guild–yet).
So, in honor of all game writers everywhere, we wanted to share with you an interview with Greg Rucka, the writer for Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow on PSP. Rucka’s interview shows that writers are real human beings with real feelings and snarky senses of humor — and that good games involve writers from the beginning, not as an afterthought.
Oh yeah, and Rucka lives in Portland, Oregon, just like our trusty editor. You know that boosts him up a couple rungs on the cool ladder.
