It's Official: $30 Price Drop for the PSP

April 3, 2007 by Sara

If you’ve been holding off on getting a PSP until the price was a bit more reasonable for a handheld, then today you should be heading to stores. Assuming, that is, that you want a machine with “so so” games but excellent media playing functionality. Today Sony made it official – the PSP is now going to sell for a suggested retail price of $169.00 USD.
They also noted that Sypon Filter: Dark Mirror and Daxter have both been added to the Greatest Hits collection. Too bad they didn’t pack one of these games in with the newly priced PSP, as that would guarantee it would fly off shelves.
