Shaun White Snowboarding was one of the showcase Wii titles at Nintendo’s E3 press conference this year, but now Ubisoft has announced that the snowboarding game will also ship on November 16 for both the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable).
Shaun White Snowboarding has been built from the ground up for both platforms, with each version including exclusive and unique features. Using intuitive controls, players can ride and compete on mountains around the world. They can also express their creativity through rides and customization and challenge their friends through wireless multiplayer.
On the Nintendo DS, Shaun White Snowboarding will let players create their own mountain runs to suit their personal riding style, and choose your path down four open mountains. As expected, the DS stylus controls the on-screen action, with players flicking the stylus to jump, drawing a circle to spin or sliding the stylus across the Touch Screen to control their carves. The DS version will also support wireless multiplayer for four players
On the Sony PSP, Shaun White Snowboarding will have five mountains, not four, in its solo campaign, while the multiplayer options will include both co-op and competitive modes. The game’s scoring system will be based on speed, trick, slide and carve proficiency, with players being able to upgrade their character with experience points.
