January 5, 2011 by Sara Leave a Comment

TurboGrafx Classics will be released this winter on the PlayStation Network for PS3 and PSP. There will be 10 games released individually.

Fans of the TurboGrafx-16 can look forward to playing the following games on their PS3 or PSP, which will be the first of many TurboGrafx-16 games delivered in full to the new generation console:

  • 1. Alien Crush
  • 2. Bomberman ’94
  • 3. Bonk’s Adventure
  • 4. Dungeon Explorer
  • 5. Neutopia
  • 6. New Adventure Island
  • 7. Soldier Blade
  • 8. Super Star Soldier
  • 9. Victory Run
  • 10. World Sports Competition

The original TurboGrafx-16 video game console was developed by Hudson Soft and NEC. It was released to major popularity in Japan in 1987, making its way to North America in 1989. With an 8-bit CPU and dual 16-bit GPU the console was capable of displaying 482 colors at once. TurboGrafx-16 was the first console to have an optional CD module, which allowed for more storage and cheaper costs.
