Coldplay Making its Rock Band Debut on Oct. 18

October 14, 2011 by Sara 1 Comment

Rock Band logoThe Grammy Award-winning group Coldplay will make its Rock Band debut on Oct. 18 with a six-pack of songs in the Rock Band 3 Music Store. The Rock Band 3 DLC from Coldplay will be available for the Xbox 360, Wii and PS3.

First up in the Coldplay six-pack is the single that pushed the band into mainstream, “Yellow,” from their studio debut album Parachutes. It’s followed by “The Scientist” and “Clocks,” two tracks from Coldplay’s second album, A Rush of Blood to the Head. Rounding out the collection are “Fix You,” “Viva la Vida” and “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall.”

That last song is the lead single off Coldplay’s latest album, Mylo Xyloto, which hits stores on October 24. Yes, that means you’ll be able to rock to a Coldplay single at home before the album even releases.
