Excitebots: Trick Racing has shipped exclusively for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo announced today. The motion-controlled racing game combines high-speed racing with gravity-defying stunts. It also supports online multiplayer via Nintendo WiFi.
Excitebots: Trick Racing puts players in control of robotic vehicles that resemble animals. Players must drive, sprint and fly around the track to earn stars, and as many as six players can do all this online using Nintendo WiFi Connection.
The online components go one step further, as players can also trade ghost data and challenge one another to outdo their tricks.
Excitebots: Trick Racing uses the Wii Wheel accessory, but it can also be controlled with a normal Wii Remote.
Excitebots: Trick Racing also includes a set of in-race mini-games that range from smashing through a set of bowling pins and hitting a clown in the face with a pie to hitting a baseball or assembling a sandwich by maneuvering their racer through a series of ingredients.
Amazon is running a $15 off special on Excitebots: Trick Racing. You can take advantage of it here: Excitebots: Trick Racing.
