March 3, 2008 by Sara Leave a Comment

Game Crazy today announced it will be hosting launch-night events for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which ships for the Nintendo Wii on March 8 (this week).

In addition to giving gamers the chance to get their hands on Super Smash Bros. Brawl a few hours early, the parties will also let players punch, kick and smash their way to game-related prizes.

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, Game Crazy stores across will close their doors to normal traffic and re-open them for fans who want to be among the first to get their hands on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The game will go on sale at 12:01 a.m. on March 9.

Game Crazy is encouraging fans to come dressed as their favorite character from the Super Smash Bros. franchise. Many stores will be hosting Super Smash Melee and Wii Sports tournaments for prizes while fans wait for the new game to officially go on sale. Game Crazy is also holding a text-to-win contest in which customers can win a $250 gift card.
