LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game sets sail tomorrow, on May 10, just a few weeks before the film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides takes theaters by storm. In a brand-new sneak peek trailer for both properties, Disney’s released the game trailer below for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, select adventures from which will be included in the full Pirates of the Caribbean game that ships tomorrow. (Pre-order links are included below the video.)
In the LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game launch trailer below, the mis-adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow all go down in LEGO-sized form as he takes on Black Beard and searches for the Fountain of Youth. What you won’t see are Elizabeth Swan or Will Turner, as those characters are not included in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. But if Jack Sparrow is up to his usual drunken-like antics — as he certainly is — those characters won’t be missed. At least not in the video game. As for the feature film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, we’ll have to reserve judgment until we see it.
