Monday Night Football asks “Are you ready for some football?” Today, Electronic Arts wants to know whether you’re ready for some Madden, as the company announced that Madden NFL 09 has gone gold for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2 and DS. Oh, and for some crazy reason, it’s going to ship for the original Xbox too.
Madden NFL 09 will be available nationwide on August 12.
When Madden NFL 09 ships, it will introduce more updates than most previous year-over-year Madden experiences. All told, the game will introduce 85 new features and enhancements, including the ability to adapt gameplay dynamically to the player’s skill level. Madden NFL 09 will also feature a network-inspired broadcast presentation highlighted by the commentary team of Cris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond.
In terms of online updates, the game will include online leagues that allow players to take their rivalries online.
