NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that NAMCO MUSEUM MEGAMIX is now available exclusively for the Wii console. NAMCO MUSEUM MEGAMIX delivers arcade-perfect classic NAMCO games including PAC-MAN, GALAGA and NEW RALLY-X along with six updated games designed specifically for Wii. Experience an arcade’s worth of games in NAMCO MUSEUM MEGAMIX this holiday season exclusively for Wii.
NAMCO MUSEUM MEGAMIX combines old and new, giving players a fresh look and updated Wii Remote control for six games including; GATOR PANIC REMIX, PAC-MOTOS, PAC’N ROLL REMIX, GALAGA REMIX, RALLY-X REMIX and GROBDA REMIX. Players will use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers to bonk, steer, roll, shoot, and bump their way through these updated interpretations of classic games. Players will also be able to get into the action themselves by being able to play the remixed games with their Mii characters.
NAMCO MUSEUM MEGAMIX also includes 18 classic NAMCO games just as players remember them from their local arcade, along with four unique PAC-MAN arcade adventures including the rare Pac&Pal and SUPER “PAC-MAN” arcade games. Classic and remixed games in NAMCO MUSEUM MEGAMIX include:
- DIG DUGII – The 1985 sequel to the arcade hit, DIG DUG. Players must defeat enemies by inflating them with an air pump, or causing sections of an island to fall into the sea by creating fault lines with a jack hammer.
- GALAGA REMIX – Galaga forces are attacking PAC-MAN! Players must use their Wii Remotes to blast away the dreaded space insects to ensure PAC-MAN’s safety.
- GAPLUS – Destroy a continuous swarm of enemy aliens in this prequel to the arcade hit, GALAGA.
- MAPPY – Help Mappy the police mouse bring criminal cats to justice. Mappy must recover all of the stolen goods by outsmarting the cats in their mansion.
- PAC-MAN – Relive the classic that ignited an absolute arcade sensation. Collect all the pellets in each maze before getting caught by the ghosts; Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde.
- PAC-MANIA – Guide PAC-MAN through four themed levels in this follow-up to the arcade phenomenon, PAC-MAN.
- RALLY-X REMIX – Burn rubber and collect the flags on each course. Up to four players can compete to see who can grab the most flags.
