Puzzle Game Octomania Ships for Nintendo Wii

April 8, 2008 by Sara Leave a Comment

Nintendo Wii owners have another puzzle game to add to their library, as Atlus today shipped Octomania to retail stores in North America.

Octomania is an arcade puzzler with four-player multiplayer support and online play via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

In Octomania, the land of Lonronpia is struggling with an “infestation” of hundreds of thousands of small octopi. Players can solve the infestation in story mode, challenge a friend or three in a local multiplayer match or take the game online and go head-to-head with a friend or random foe.

The game includes Story Mode, which takes players to multiple locales to battle a variety of opponents; Arcade Mode, which lets players jump straight into the action; and Endless Mode, in which it’s all about how long players can hang in there before their screen fills with octopi.
