The Tale of Despereaux: The Game, adapted from both the novel and animated film, has shipped this week for the PS2, Wii, DS and PC. The Tale of Despereaux: The Game lets children of all ages play as the world’s most courageous mouse as he sets out on his heroic quest to save Princess Pea and the kingdom of Dor.
Following the storyline from the film while also introducing new adventures, The Tale of Despereaux: The Game lets kids interact with characters on their way to a magical world filled with battles, adventures and puzzles. The Wii and PS2 game features 15 levels, upgradeable skills and tools, as well as multiple difficulty settings.
The Nintendo DS version, meanwhile, is an entirely different game that focuses more on grappling, swinging, scurrying and puzzles.
