THQ is hosting an online art contest for fans of the uDraw Game Tablet which has been one of the most popular gifts this Christmas. It starts today and you can join in the fun by going to the uDraw Game Tablet web site: https://www.WorldofuDraw.com/contests.
Prizes will be offered to winners including a grand prize pack of favorite THQ video games for Wii worth $500. There is also a change to have some of your artwork on the background on WorldofuDraw.com.
Any member of the free club uDraw at WorldofuDraw.com can enter. The club was formed so digital artists could exchange ideas and stay current on the latest games for the uDraw Game Tablet.
“The response from consumers and the media to uDraw has been fantastic,” said Martin Good, Executive Vice President of THQ’s Kids, Family and Casual Games and Global Online Services. “We’re exploring exciting ways to engage with uDraw fans, and building an online community for them to showcase their art and share their enthusiasm.”
The uDraw GameTablet was part of Ellen’s “12 Days of Giveaways” on Dec. 10, and was showcased in the syndicated entertainment-news show Extra on Dec. 8. CNN called the uDraw GameTablet “phenomenal” and “so creative,” while The New York Daily News said it “does a masterful job” at letting users tap into their inner artist through their video game consoles. Wired.com wrote, “While there are many Wii accessories out there, none are so fundamentally transformative as THQ’s uDraw tablet.”
