Age of Empires Moves to Asia this Fall

May 19, 2007 by Sara

Age of Empires III is heading east this fall, as the second expansion pack will be called “The Asian Dynasties” and feature Asian civilizations, a host of new gameplay features and a new developer. The expansion will ship for both Windows XP and Windows Vista.
This expansion will be the first AOE title developed by Big Huge Games, the studio responsible for the Rise of Nations real-time strategy games.
In addition to the introduction of playable Asian civilizations, the expansion pack will provide new content and several new gameplay elements including new ways of winning and trading, random map styles that feature remixes of classic AOE game styles, and 15 new Asian “Wonders.”
