Burnout Paradise Racing to PC, Will Include User Mods

May 9, 2008 by Sara Leave a Comment

Burnout Paradise changed things up from previous Burnout games, going with an open-world format and eliminating the official Crash Junctions. Now it looks like the game will change things up yet again, with a PC version planned for later this year.

Burnout Paradise will be the first game in the Burnout franchise to appear on PC. It was originally released exclusively for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

With its jump to PC, Burnout Paradise will include expanded multiplayer options, enhanced online features and, yes, “community driven content” (user mods, most likely).

Other than those changes, Electronic Arts did not mention any additional updates. Burnout Paradise PC will likely include higher resolution graphics, and perhaps a modified user interface, but that’s pure conjecture at this point. If you’re really jonesing for more information, we recommend tuning into Criterion’s live webcast at at 8:00am PST today (May 9), where they will go into more detail.
