Capcom today shipped Devil May Cry 4 for Windows PC, letting PC gamers in on fast-action fights that heretofore had only been enjoyed by PS3 and Xbox 360 owners.
The PC version of Devil May Cry 4 features new modes, enhanced graphics options and additional content compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, and it ships for a lower price: $39.99.
The additional PC-exclusive modes are Turbo Mode, which turns up the action to insane speeds, and Legendary Dark Knight Mode, which fills the screen with an unbelievable number of enemies for extra difficulty.
The high resolution of PC monitors also allow the game’s cut scenes to run at up to 120 frames per second (compared to 30 frames per second on the consoles). Slider options are also available to manage various visual effects, and Devil May Cry 4 has both DirectX 9 and DirectX 10 modes.
