Everyone’s favorite dirty-minded dude will soon make his triumphant debut on Xbox 360 and PS3, as Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust was announced this morning for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust will also appear on PC and mobile phones, but really, it’s the console versions that most people care about, right?
Sierra obviously hopes Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust doesn’t turn into a “bust,” so the company is employing several high-profile performers to provide their voice talent. Among the stars involved in the game are Jay Mohr, Shannon Elizabeth and Carmen Electra.
Lord help us all if Shannon Elizabeth and Carmen Electra voice a lesbian scene. Our Xbox 360s and PS3s might just melt down.
Shipping this fall, Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust will be a third-person adventure game in which Larry takes a summer job working on his uncle Larry’s movie lot. His job, other than oogling all the Hollywood starlets, is to do odd jobs and try to uncover a mole from another studio who’s threatening to air the studio’s dirty laundry in the tabloids.
Here’s some more information, directly from Sierra: “Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust is a rollicking, innuendo-laden lampoon of Hollywood that features open world sandbox gameplay that includes exploration, platforming, racing and puzzle-solving to complete missions. Additionally, the game will feature an all-new Directors Game that allows the player to create their very own ‘Larry Feature.’
