Duke Nukem has never been one to shy from humor, nor have the developers responsible for pulling him together. You didn’t think that would change for Duke Nukem Forever, did you? If for no other reasons than to show some new in-game footage and make jokes about “shrinkage,” 2K Games has sent along a new video of Duke Nukem in action entitled “Shrinkage.”
In this new Duke Nukem Forever “Shrinkage” video, you won’t see cracks about Seinfeld, cold water or stage fright. What you will see is one minute of minitature carnage courtesy of Duke Nukem getting shrunk down to the size of a GI Joe figure. While tiny, he blasts away at equally-small foes, normal-sized baddies and even gets to drive a radio-controlled car.
According to 2K, “Shrinkage proves two important things. One, that Duke is the baddest mofo in gaming. Who else could be the size of an index finger and still pack a powerful punch…Duke can! Secondly, and possibly most important, the Duke Nukem Forever’s Shrinkage video will finally put to bed the awful adage that size matters because OBVIOUSLY good things can come in small packages.”
