Alan Wake Coming to Xbox Live Games on Demand

November 18, 2010 by Sara Leave a Comment

Microsoft’s psychological thriller Alan Wake is headed to the Games on Demand library on Xbox Live, and it’s coming sooner and for a lower price than you might have expected. Starting Nov. 23, the game will be available on Xbox Live for 2400 Microsoft Points.

The Games on Demand version of Alan Wake (read our Alan Wake review), which requires 6.3 GB of space, will be available for download to both Xbox Live Free and Gold members. Also available will be the DLC “The Signal” and “The Writer” add-ons, both of which will be available to purchase individually via Xbox Live Marketplace for 560 Microsoft Points each.

If you don’t have an Xbox 360 yet, players can also download “Alan Wake” through Games on Demand free of charge using a token included with the Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle, which includes an Xbox 360 250GB console and a copy of “Forza Motorsport 3.” The bundle is available at retailers now for $299.99.
